India: Democracy or Anarchy

India : Democracy or Anarchy ?

The above question must be an easy one to answer for the Indians (that includes me too....of course). We pride ourselves greatly in calling ourself the 'Worlds biggest Democracy'. But we do not realize how far frrom reality we really are.
Well ...there are reasons for me to get frustated enough to write this blog. First : Where else would i get an ear to listen. Second : I am frustated enough by the Indian Political System...Throw another look at our smug looking politicians, will you? What do you see? Pot-bellied fellas, lips red with paan, spotless white attire....and two cellphones in two hands!! What was it again : " Government is by the people and for the people". Well i think the time has come to change all that hum-bug. Lets say like this :" Government is by the people and for the politicians". How else would anybody explain todays scenario? The politicians who come to the public once in five years (well if we are lucky that is) with folded hands and a speech full of promises, forget all that in a phenomenon called election results. The same people who have elected him/her to solve their problems, now get a very curt answer from an even curt PA, " Saab busy hai....Saab kanference mein hain.....Saab tour par gaye hain..." And then finally our Laxman's common man realizes that he has made a mistake electing such a busy person. Oh, he is busy acquiring wealth, making name, creating a pool of high & mighty connections, so on and so forth.....no wonder he is busy!!. Poor politician, he gets so misunderstood by the junta. Well....bloggers....more coming next.....wife calling!!!!
.....concluded......
